A truly home-from-home Dog Retreat set in the heart of beautiful Carmarthenshire in South West Wales

— no kennel blocks, no cages but lots of comfy sofas and beds!

We offer relaxed, family-based holiday stays for small and medium dogs, where your dog lives in our Welsh country home as part of the family with our two children and two resident dogs.

(We also have two resident cats that spend most of their time exploring the fields around our home!)

​

Days are shaped around unhurried time outdoors. Guest dogs enjoy carefully chosen walks across some of the most beautiful landscapes Wales has to offer, including quiet beaches, ancient woodlands, rolling Preseli hills, peaceful reservoirs and, for suitable dogs, excursions into the Brecon Beacons National Park. Walks are selected to suit each dog’s confidence, energy levels and training, with an emphasis on enrichment, safety and space to explore.

Each stay can be tailored to your dog’s needs, with optional extras including:

* EmmiPet ultrasound teeth cleaning

For added convenience, we also offer a chauffeur collection service within 200 miles of SA33, making your dog’s holiday as effortless as yours.

The retreat is run by Ellen Davies, an IMDT-Qualified Dog Trainer and Qualified Veterinary Nurse, ensuring every guest receives knowledgeable, compassionate and truly individual care.

Pricing

We offer two styles of stay, depending on the level of privacy you and your dog prefer.

Shared Retreat Stay

£50 per night

Two dogs from the same home £85 per night

​

Your dog/s stays alongside one other guest and our two resident dogs. This option suits sociable dogs who enjoy calm companionship and a home-style environment.

Exclusive Retreat Stay

£95 per night

Two dogs from the same home £150 per night

​

A fully private stay for one guest dog or two dogs from the same home, shared only with our two resident dogs and our family. Ideal for dogs who thrive on individual attention, extra space, or a quieter setting.

All stays are hosted in our family home in South West Wales and include supervised free time, structured rest, enrichment, and the same level of attentive care—regardless of booking type.

As we host a very limited number of dogs at any one time, availability is intentionally restricted.
